hello AGAIN!
Born & raised in Texas, I fell in love with film like everyone else - going through the Frank Capra box set with my Mom and quoting Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb with my Dad by the age of 13. (That was everyone, right?)
MY WORK LIFE:
While I have been working specifically in the Entertainment industry for 4+ years, I have been managing projects throughout my entire career. As of 2025, I have obtained my Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate from PMI. I am incredibly appreciative to all those who mentored and supported me throughout this process, and look forward to continuing my journey in Project Management. I want to bring my skills in project mangagement to help all teams, whether in a creative industry or not, stay within budget and schedule. While I may no longer be working in the film industry, I will always be up-to-date on what movies are in theaters and would love to chat about it while I'm updating my Excel spreadsheets!
In 2024, I worked on both commercial and creative 2D & 3D Animation projects at Brazen Animation in Dallas, TX. I coordinated all parts of the pipeline; creating schedules and communicating with Supervisors, Artists, and External Clients to hit tight deadlines. I also kept up the physical office; taking phone calls, setting up rooms, and ordering office/kitchen supplies to keep everyone and everything organized. It was a joy to work on such a vast array of Animation projects with so many industry legends at Brazen!
From 2020-2023 I worked in in Animation/VFX as the VizPost Coordinator at Rooster Teeth Animation in Austin, Texas, working on the episodic series RWBY, the first ever American made anime series imported to Japan, as well as two Justice League X RWBY feature length films produced by Warner Bros Animation, DC, & Rooster Teeth Animation. There I coordinated the 2DFX, 3DFX, Crowds, Lighting, Compositing, and Matte Painting departments, helping artists stay organized while on a tight budget and schedule. It has been incredible working alongside a team of such talented artists who make such beautiful visuals for RWBY and a dream come true to be working in the animation industry and a part of creating anime!
Previous to working in Animation, I worked on physical film and commercial sets in Dallas, Texas, from behind the camera as a Property Master to in the Production Office as the Key Production Office Assistant on films such as Run, Hide, Fight starring Isabel May and Thomas Jane, and South of Heaven starring Jason Sudeikis and Evangeline Lilly. I studied Visual Arts at Booker T Washington High School for the Performing Arts, winning first place in the metal arts competition Scrap Can Be Beautiful in 2014. I graduated with a B.A in Film and Digital Media Major at Baylor University in 2019. In college, I worked in a movie theater, managed people and events as Vice President of my sorority Kappa Chi Alpha, and have had my short film Tulips and ULTRAVIOLET premiere at The Black Glasses Film Festival, winning the 'Unique Vision' award in 2018.
Working in such a strong team oriented environment in Film, Television, and Animation over the past 5+ years has given me experience excelling in organization, collaboration, and communication, while teaching me the importance of creativity, focus, and initiative in the work place. I look forward to taking these qualities into ever aspect of my life and any industry outside of entertainment to promote positivity, creative thinking, artistic passion, and brands globally.
A QUICK 'MORE ABOUT ME PERSONALLY': I love art, especially the work of Hilma af Clint and Alphonse Mucha. I love music, especially dancing to ABBA and Charli XCX. I love watching television, especially The Great British Bake Off and all kinds of anime. I love to watch movies, my favorite directors being Ingmar Bergman and Alfred Hitchcock and my favorite genre being horror. In my free time I enjoy baking chocolate souffle's, messing around on photoshop, painting or embroidering, eating tacos, and spending time with my beautiful family and wonderful friends.
